400 years ago, in 1623, England lost two of its best early composers: Thomas Weelkes and William Byrd. In the programme honouring this double anniversary, The King's Singers turn their focus to the bold personalities of these two men. Though revered for their glorious church music, it's through secular songs, madrigals and works in English that we witness more of these men's characters, with all the wit, humour and rebelliousness that made them as notorious in life as adored in eternity.

Featuring some of their well-known gems, coupled with works by other prestigious composers, and unrecorded scores rarely heard live, Tom and Will unlocks some of the humanity behind these two giants of Elizabethan music. Performed in The King's Singers' unique style, this programme is filled with musical beauty, drama and storytelling.
