Mount Fortress Corridor

The Mount Fortress Corridor is situated on the eastern slope of the famous historic site of Mount Fortress. It is connected to the Tap Seac Plaza, the old city centre of St. Lazarus Parish and the sight-seeing pedestrian path of the historic centre of Macao. It also provides a shortcut for citizens and tourists to access the Fortress.

The Mount Fortress Corridor is three storeys tall, built in European fashion with modern sense. Visitors can move up and down on the two landscape escalators or walk along the flights of stairs and enjoy the surrounding scenery of the Fortress.

Since the Corridor’s opening on 30th April 2005, the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao S.A.R. Government has converted it into an Exhibition Gallery many times and hosted a number of exhibitions there, making it an important stop on any artistic itinerary.
