“I met my grandma at the beginning of my life, and we walked hand in hand since then. I thought we could keep on walking together to the end. Although there is no way to go back, we will never leave each other. Later, I learnt that time does not run in a straight line. Not until I looked down at the path we had walked along did I realise that my grandma met me on her way towards the end.”

“Grandma eventually came to the end of her life. She gave me a secret treasure box before approaching her end. What secrets are hidden inside?”

Grandma’s Treasure Box, adapted from the creator’s life story, captures everyday moments between a grandma and her grandchild. The production, debuted at the Macao City Fringe Festival last year, has been recommended by the artistic advisors of the Macao City Fringe Festival to be restaged at the Macao Arts Festival this year. Let us uncover the secrets inside the treasure box together, and learn and experience the joys and sorrows of caring and being cared for.
