The ‘Music in World Heritage’ is a new concert series added to this concert season and will be performed by the Macao Chinese Orchestra at sites inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Music and architecture represent the art of time and space respectively. The concurrent appearance of these two elements demonstrates changes of time and space as well as the entanglement of comparison and unification. This concert series aims to provide the general public with opportunities to appreciate the essence of Chinese music in historic buildings, thereby amplifying the effectiveness and attractiveness of the concerts.
