The third season opens with the first
concert in the Romantic Classics Series. Music Director En Shao will collaborate
with John Lill, the pianist who has become a British household name and whose
talent is recognized throughout the world. International demand has brought this
winner of the 1970 Moscow International Tchaikovsky Competition to over forty
countries, both as a recitalist and as a soloist with the majority of the
world’s leading orchestras. Renowned for his interpretation of Brahms’ Piano
Concertos, John Lill will be bringing us one of the finest piano concertos of
the Romantic era.
