A musical destiny was in store from his first year of life, and Lang Lang would grow to channel the emotions of the great composers though the piano. Celebrating the 20th season of the International Music Festival, this virtuoso joins the Macao Orchestra in the lyricism of Chopin. Then they turn the page to the extravagance of Tchaikovsky, taking Lang Lang back to one of the greatest nights of his career. He was 17 when he filled in last-minute for Andre Watts at the Ravinia Festival's Gala of the Century, ensuring his place among the stars with the very same piece that will bring his concert to a close in Macao.
