The installation designer of the dance theatre production Vaster Far Than the Ocean, Lam Ka Pik, will share her experience and offer some tips for applying scaffolding skills to stage design by using the performances Memory Blueprint II, Back to the Catastrophic Typhoon of 1874 and Vaster Far Than the Ocean as examples.

An independent theatre set, costume designer and performer, graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in England with a Master’s degree in Set Design in 2016, and completed the Bachelor of Arts in Design at Macao Polytechnic Institute in 2004, also completed the foundation diploma course in Set Design at Wimbledon College of Art in England in 2011. She has experience in designing, performing and teaching, and has presented her works in UK, Korea, Taiwan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macao and Shenzhen.
