The Kransky Sisters are packing up their Morris Major and heading to the Macao Arts Festival. After sell-out seasons in Australia, New Zealand, London and all through Europe, the oddball sisters Mourne, Eve and Dawn Kransky are once again venturing out, far from the dusty-curtained private world of their old family home in Esk, rural Queensland, with their darkly funny stories, lilting harmonies and off-beat versions of the popular songs they’ve heard on their wireless. Accompanying themselves with an old 60s reed keyboard, tuba, musical saw, kitchen pot, toilet brush and duelling tambourines, these three talented women combine their eclectic talents to cover songs from the Eurythmics and Talking Heads, to AC/DC and Steppenwolf. The combination of their strange behaviour, blinkered outlooks, superbly droll comic dialogue and alluring, downright hilarious brand of tune makes for a highly entertaining brew. Not to be missed.

“The Kransky Sisters are a well-oiled comic machine. Their droll humour, deadpan expressions and morose delivery of songs by the likes of AC/DC and the Eurythmics proved to be the perfect recipe for laughter.”
