Camané is so authentic in thinking and feeling the fado that none can resist him, from the purists to the younger generations. He is reserved and conservative on the fado stage yet adventurous in the fields of jazz and light music, lending his voice as well to pop groups and musicals that are among the most famous in Portugal. Singing with the Macao Chinese Orchestra might be a first, but it's yet another challenge in an already lengthy career of one who has given so much music to the world.
