Brewed in a melting pot of many arts, the drama of Balagan is peppered with humour and sensuality. It‘s a recipe for a dreamlike, chaotic world “where anything can happen,” promises Artistic Director Sebastiano Toma (Circus Tiger Lillies), who first brought together the elements of the surreal German production in 2001.

Dancers, acrobats, and circus artists from many countries turn and twist in the kaleidoscope of dreams that is Balagan’s stage. The sounds of the show are a cocktail served up by the musicians of Trio Bravo. Lively rhythms fuse with modern swing to express the deepest of desires in an ironic setting of fantasies that fade and are reborn.
