Wooing them with precious gifts of song, a band of the best pop musicians in Portugal has found its way into the hearts of a Chinese orchestra. For Ala dos Namorados it may be the allure of a distant shore, but for the Macao Chinese Orchestra it has been a twenty-year love affair, a life dedicated to the union of Portuguese and Chinese traditions.

In a marriage of two cultures enamoured with one another for centuries, the angelic voice of Nuno Guerreiro will join the delicate passions of the pipa and the erhu, then the "Lisbon Lunatics" will perform unaccompanied, promising to make songs like "Zé Passarinho" as famous in Macao as they are in their native land.
