EDITORIAL

This issue of the "Review of Culture"[RC] is 'historic' for two reasons. Firstly, it is dedicated to the commemorations surrounding our tenth anniversary. And secondly, its publication purposefully coincides with the date marking the decade and a half since the founding of the Instituto Cultural de Macau (Cultural Institute of Macau) [ICM], under whose guardianship we remain.

Published on the 4th of September, this issue of the "Review of Culture" is thus closely connected with events organised to commemorate the anniversary of the Instituto Cultural, and, as such, we have opened our doors to the three personalities most closely linked with the Cultural Institute of Macao's destiny: António Manuel Salavessa da Costa, Under-Secretary for Educação, Turismo e Cultura (Communication, Tourism and Culture), Jorge António Hagerdon Rangel, Under-Secretary for Administração, Educação e Juventude (Administration, Education and Youth), and Gabriela Pombas Cabelo, the current President of the Cultural Institute of Macau.
