Ray Chen, aged only 27, is a promising classical music violinist. Showcasing astounding music talent in his youth, he entered the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music at the age of 15 and studied under maestro violinist Aaron Rosand. Chen was crowned the champion in Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition and also the Queen Elisabeth Competition when he was 19 and 20 respectively. His current musical instrument is a precious Stradivarius violin made in 1715, passed down by the great 19th century Hungarian violinist Joseph Joachim.

This virtuosic violinist is going to stage a solo concert, presenting both his amazing skills and artistic pursuit for audience to experience the magnificent decency of the Baroque style, zealous passion of the Romantic Era and the unruly charm of modern music.
