The Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa comes to Macao to recite a Mass at St. Dominic's Church, perform a sonata at its altar, and light candles in honour of Mozart, born 250 years ago. Joining them, the Batavia Madrigal Singers bare their souls in a motet, after a piano concerto composed for a Lenten series in 1765 unfolds its sacred motif. Thus, in a spirit of communion, Japan's youngest orchestra celebrates its Macao debut.
