Rhythm, passion, and magic are the essence of Jarocho, a dance spectacle that transforms ancient folklore into modern entertainment. At the heart of this show is son jarocho, a fusion of traditions belonging to Africa, Europe and American indigenous peoples. It is a unified expression, which for more than 200 years has been the signature sound of the Mexican tropics.

Original compositions and traditional songs like “La Bamba” combine with a number of dance genres on a programme hailed by critics as the “most ambitious” and “most relevant” original Mexican production in decades.

Jarocho is Mexico, unexpected!
