Summary

Proceedings of the "International Symposium on the Culture of Metropolis in Macao", organized by the Cultural Institute of Macao with the co-operation of the College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture of the University of Minnesota, held between 14 and 18 September 1998. The symposium addressed the issues of Urbanism, Identity, Collective Heritage and Quotidian Culture - Strategies for the Twenty-first Century.
