Summary
Shi Lu was a representative of the revolutionary artist fostered by the Communist Party of China during the Yan’an period, as well as the major designer of the Chang’an Painting School. This hardcover catalogue contains images of all items showcased in the exhibition, as well as the related research materials and thesis. The catalogue presents over 150 pieces (sets) of artworks into four sections: “Revolutionary Epic”, “Praise of the New Era”, “Chang’an New Painting” and “Strength of Character”.
