PHOTOGRAPHERS AND HERITAGE

For memory and aesthesia, now and in the future: some lyrical and moving moments of the valuable architectural heritage of our city, captured by some of Macao's photographers.

This short selection of outstanding photographs has been chosen from the various competitions held by the Cultural Heritage Department of the ICM (Macao Cultural Institute) since 1982. The selected pictures are from the competitions held in 1992. 1993 and 1995.

RC (Revista de Cultura) acknowledges this special cooperation with the Cultural Heritage Department of the ICM, which took the initiative to stimulate the individual's innermost tie with the city and a conscious dialogue with the everyday landscape, reinvigorating the collective memories and familiar references that weave a coherent identity.
