Television Broadcast in Macao and Hong Kong
To disseminate the joyous, enthusiastic atmosphere of Macao’s Handover celebrations, the Chinese channel of TDM (Macao Broadcasting) will broadcast the event live, on the 20^th of December from 3:30 to 6.30pm. Large outdoor screens at Companhia de Jesus Square (in front of the Ruins of St. Paul’s) will show details of the opening ceremony, and screens at the Carlos da Maia (“Three Lamps”) Roundabout and St. Dominic’s Square will display views of the parade in real time, allowing larger audiences a better view of the entire event and its surrounding atmosphere.

In addition, Hong Kong’s TVB will show parade highlights on their evening entertainment programme “Scoop”, and on the following evening, December 21^st at 7pm, TVB will broadcast a special 30-minute programme dedicated to Macao’s 12^th Anniversary Handover Celebrations and the “Parade through Macao, Latin City”.
