Yin Song

Yin Song, renowned pianist and piano educator. She obtained a master’s degree at the Shanghai Conservatory, and is a National First Grade Performer, member of China Musicians Association, honorary director of Shenzhen Musicians Association, senior adjudicator of China Musicians Association National Piano Examination and a pianist at Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra. She has held numerous recitals, chamber music concert and toured nationally with the two pianos concert. She has also performed concertos with Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, and has met the nation’s leaders several times.

Her recordings at radio and television has been broadcast frequently in different Chinese cities. Her two academic articles were published in piano journal in China.

Yin has been teaching for nearly four decades and is an experienced adjudicator in numerous piano competitions. Her students won various national and international competition, many became professional pianists. In 1998 she established Chopin Piano Art Centre.

She has published books on piano education published by Haitian Publication and Shanghai Music Publishing House, and her name is recorded in Who’s Who directory of Chinese artists.

Yin has frequently appeared in media on specialised topic of music performance and education. She was interviewed in June 2014 by China Central Television as a key opinion leader.
