Yang, Hui-Chun

Flutist Hui-Chun Yang has been describe as “ a extremely talented musician, with full of color and sensitive personality.” --- Patrice Bocquillon
Graduated from Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, where she earned the highest degree “Diplome Superieur de Concertiste de Flute traversiere” and honor “Diplome Superieur d’execution de Flute traersiere mention a l’unanimite de Jury”. Under the guidance of Pierre-Yves Artaud, Hui-Chun has been selected to work intensively with world famous flutist such as Philippe Pierlot, Amy Porter, Juien Beaudiment, Gary Schocker, Philippe Bernold, Vincent Lucks, Magali Mosnier and Claude Lefebvre. She was also a member of Orchestra de Flute Francaise, where it focus on Contemporary music and has been performed widely throughout French. In addition she also hold the Master of Music degree from Taipei Municipal University of Education under Chen-Ying Huang and Bachelor of Music in Ping-Tung University of Education under Shang-Jung Lin.
In 2015, she got the first place from Industrial Bank of Taiwan Scholarships, and she was also in the final in Osaka International Music Competition in 2014. Currently an Assistant Professor in TransWorld University, she also teaches in many other university and high school. In the meanwhile, Hui-Chun holds her Solo Recitals every year and work closely with Symphony band of Chia-Pei elementary school to perform the transcription of Sarasate “Zigeunerweisen for flute”.
