
Being a young and energetic clarinetist, Juliette Tu has been widely recognized for her glorious talent and charismatic performing skills. Alain Damiens, clarinet soloist in Ensemble InterContemporain, publicly praised Juliette as an extremely gifted clarinetist who can perform touching and beautiful music with extraordinary musicianship.
Born and raised in Taiwan, Juliette Tu showed her great talent in music since infancy and won several national competitions in clarinet solo performance when being a student in Taiwan.
In France, Juliette received the instruction from Prof. Alain Damiens, Prof. Yves Sévère, and Prof. Completing her education in France, Juliette Tu won Gold Metal Prize of graduation in Conservatoire National de Région de Nantes , a First Prize of chamber music in Conservatoire de la Ville de Paris, and a First Prize recognized by all jurors in Conservatoire National de Région d'Aubervilillers La Courneuve.
Juliette Tu and several French musicians formed a clarinet quintet and the quartet of “The End of Time” of Olivier Messiaen, earning a good reputation after quite a few tours in France. Juliette was a formal member of Ensemble A Propos and Evergreen Symphony Orchestra, and is an incumbent adjunct professor in National Taiwan University of Arts.
