Ho, Chung-Mom

Ho Chung-Mom Born in Taipei, educated in Paris, Ho Chung-Mom is the founder and music director of MOMO Trumpet Ensemble and MOMO Brass Ensemble. He also works as lecturer at National Taiwan University of Arts and as trumpet member in Evergreen Symphony Orchestra. As a trumpet soloist, from 1997, Ho has performed concertos in many countries, including France, Romania, Hungary, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and South Africa, and has won several prizes, including first prizes in the International Competition of UFAM (France) and Asia Pacific International Trumpet Competition (China), and third prizes in Jeju International Brass Competition (South Korea) and Bucharest International Trumpet Competition (Romania), etc. His first album recorded with contemporary percussionist was released in 2005. Ho Chung-Mom earned his degree with First Prize passed unanimously by referees with congratulation from Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris-CNR where he studied with renowned French trumpet players Guy TOUVRON and Eric AUBIER.
