Booking Guide

Ticketing

  1. Tickets are available through the Macau Ticketing Network from 10am on 4 August 2019 (Sunday); queuing vouchers will be distributed from 9am on the same day through the Macau Ticketing Network.
  2. Telephone and online bookings (local and overseas) are available from 12pm on 4 August 2019.
  3. On the first day of ticket sales, ticket purchases are limited to a maximum of 10 tickets per performance per person.

Ticket Discounts

“Early Bird” Discounts:
30% discount when buying tickets between 4 August and 11 August, or 20% discount when buying tickets on or after 12 August by:

  1. Purchasing tickets for at least 4 different performances;
  2. Purchasing 10 or more tickets (group tickets) for the same performance;
  3. Presenting a valid full-time Student Card (holders of local student card or Macao residents with overseas student card); ^
  4. Presenting a valid Macao Teacher Card.^

    ^ Each cardholder can only use one discounted ticket per performance. Cardholders are required to present the respective identity document for admission, otherwise the full ticket fare will be charged.

Special Offers in Celebration of Handover:
Exclusive Discount for BOC Cardholders:
Enjoy a 30% discount on tickets for the special programmes by presenting a BOC Credit Card# or BOC Card. The special programmes are opening performance Grand Opera in Two Acts The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the concert by the Macao Orchestra and the China NCPA Orchestra and Chorus: The Yellow River Cantata.

Discount for OM Friends, CCM Friends and Friends of the Macao Chinese Orchestra:
25% discount when buying tickets between 4 August and 11 August, or 20% discount when buying tickets on or after 12 August.


20% Discount for:
  1. Holders of BOC Credit Card or BOC Card, for any shows except the special programmes;
  2. Holders of MasterCard, Visa or UnionPay cards from BCM Bank, OCBC Wing Hang, Tai Fung Bank or Luso International Banking Ltd.
50% Discount for:

Holders of Macao Senior Citizen Card or Disability Assessment Registration Card.

Each cardholder can only use one discounted ticket per performance. Cardholders are required to present the respective identity document for admission, otherwise full ticket fare will be charged.

Discount with Boarding Pass

Air Macau customers can enjoy a 20% discount on ticket purchases at the Macau Ticketing Network by presenting their respective boarding pass (flight code NX) within 7 days upon their arrival in Macao.

General Seating Performances

Seating for the performances at the Mandarin’s House, the Taipa Houses Amphitheatre and the University of Macau Library Plaza is not assigned and is available on a first come, first served basis.

Free Transportation

  1. Free transportation to Praça Ferreira Amaral, Av. Horta e Costa, Fai Chi Kei and Toi San will be available outside the Macao Cultural Centre after each performance.
  2. In conjunction with the concert The Vienna Philharmonic, the organiser offers “Music Express” bus service for the members of the public to travel between the city centre and the University of Macau Library Plaza. Details will be announced later through the official page of the Macao International Music Festival, the respective page on Facebook and the WeChat account “ICmacao”. 

Notice

  1. Audience members are strongly advised to arrive 10 minutes before the performances start. The organiser reserves the right to determine at what time and in what manner latecomers are admitted;
  2. Children under the age of 6 will not be admitted to the performances. The organiser reserves the right to request and to examine the valid ID of any child to determine his or her age, and to deny admission to any child;
  3. All mobile phones, beeping and lighting devices should be switched off throughout the performances;
  4. Smoking, eating, drinking or possession of plastic bags and/or objects considered dangerous is prohibited in the performance venues;
  5. To avoid undue disturbance to the performers and audience members, cameras and recording devices are strictly prohibited unless expressly authorised by the organiser;
  6. In case of any special circumstance, the organiser reserves the right to change the programme, the cast of performers, performing date or time and seats at any time;

Venue of the concert “The Vienna Philharmonic”, integrated in the 33rd Macao International Music Festival, was changed to the Macao Cultural Centre

Due to the unstable weather conditions observed in the last few days and with the agreement of the Orchestra, the concert “The Vienna Philharmonic” integrated in the 33rd Macao International Music Festival, organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, originally scheduled to be held at the University of Macau Library Plaza on 21 and 22 October, at 8pm, will be transferred to the Macao Cultural Centre Grand Auditorium, in order to ensure the quality of the performance and the experience of the public. The dates, time, programme and price remain unchanged.

Members of the public who acquired tickets for the concerts may use them and enter the auditorium from 7pm onwards. Seating will not be assigned and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Ticket holders can alternatively request ticket refund at the Macau Ticketing Network outlets from 17 to 31 October 2019. We apologize for any inconvenience.
