António Zambujo, Vocal and Guitar

António Zambujo is one of the greatest contemporary artists, composers and interpreters of Portuguese music and language, and one of their most notable ambassadors worldwide.

By incorporating influences from the Brazilian songbook, from bossa nova in particular, Zambujo broke down real and imaginary borders, bringing both sides of the Atlantic closer together. With that, his music, first forged in the tradition of Cante Alentejano and Fado, created a unique personality and inspired a new cycle in Portuguese music.

In this show, he will present a number of songs from his ninth album António Zambujo Voz e Violão, whose title is inspired by the title of one of the most important albums of his life, João Voz e Violão, released by João Gilberto in 1999, and returns, not accidentally, to the essentials.

Duration: Approximately 1 hour, no interval
Performed in Portuguese, with subtitles in Chinese and English
