Biographical Notes

Lai Chi Ieng Loretta

Lai has a passion for creating puppets from a young age. In 2013, she founded Gugumelo Studio, where she designs her own characters and participates in several craft markets. In 2021, she held the solo showcase Gugumelo’s Travel to the Blue Planet – Loretta Lai Eco-friendly Creative Exhibition. Her philosophy is ‘Art from the Heart’, creating works that touch the souls of others.
