Rubbing is a traditional Chinese craft in which the texts and patterns on artefacts are reproduced clearly using xuan paper and ink. In this workshop, Dr. Chong Chon Fai from the Chinese Cultural Arts Gallery at Pui Ching Middle School Macau will teach the basic rubbing techniques, demonstrate writing inscriptions on the works and allow participants to experience the culture of rubbing.
