On the occasion of the “China Cultural and Natural Heritage Day”, the Cultural Affairs Bureau organises a series of exciting activities, including the highlight “Genesis and Spirit – Showcase of Hainan Intangible Cultural Heritage”, which comprehensively presents the unique intangible heritage and culture of Hainan Province through a large-scale exhibition, folk costume show, traditional performing arts showcase, and arts and crafts workshops. Different types of thematic workshops will also be held at various cultural facilities in Macao, showcasing the unique appeal of intangible cultural heritage. World heritage sites will be specially open, in order to comprehensively enhance residents’ and tourists’ understanding of Macao’s cultural heritage.

“Genesis and Spirit – Showcase of Hainan Intangible Cultural Heritage” comprehensively presents the unique intangible heritage and culture of Hainan Province, including a large-scale exhibition, performances, arts and crafts demonstrations and workshops, showcasing the splendid traditional culture of the province and enhance the exchange and cooperation between Mainland China and Macao in the field of intangible cultural heritage. Admission is free and all are welcome.
