Graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2015, Yuen is currently the honorary director of the Sheng Professional Committee of the China Nationalities Orchestra Society and a musician of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra. He is an active musician and has performed with the orchestra around the world. He was a sheng musician of the Academy Chinese Orchestra, principal sheng of the Hong Kong Juvenile & Youth Chinese Classical Orchestra, and a part-time performer of the Music Office.
