Wang studied at the Taipei University of the Arts under Liu Rong-yi, and earned a Bachelor of Music in Oboe Performance. Then she furthered her studies and graduated with a Master’s degree in Oboe Performance from Detmold University of Music, where she studied under Gernot Schmalfuss. She is now the principal oboe of Taiwan Philharmonic.

Wang has performed Cimarosa’s Oboe Concerto and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Variations on a Theme of Glinka with Taipei United Wind Orchestra, Ferran’s El Bosque Mágico with Taipei Wind Orchestra & Symphonic Band, Navarro’s Legacy with Taipei University of the Arts Chamber Orchestra, to name a few. She has also appeared with oboist Philippe Tondre to perform oboe duets, and premiered DEA, a concerto for oboe and wind ensemble by Taiwan composer Lan Mei-Mi.
