Born in Taipei, Ho started to learn music since childhood and furthered his studies in Paris. He gained the Diplôme d’Études Musicales and the Diplôme Supérieur d'Études Musicales from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris, and the Prix d’excellence à l’unanimité avec félicitations du Jury from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Rueil-Malmaison. He is the founder and music director of MOMO Trumpet Ensemble and Taiwan Brass, director of the World Trumpet Federation Asia, a member of the International Trumpet Guild, vice-president of the China Trumpet Guild of the Chinese Musicians Association, the president of the Taipei Asia Pacific Band Association, a trumpeter of the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra, a contract artist of the iartschool and an assistant professor at Taiwan University of Arts.

As a trumpet soloist, Ho has performed in Europe, Asia, the United States and South Africa, and has won the first prize in the International Trumpet Competition of the Union Française des Artistes Musiciens in France, and Asia Pacific International Trumpet Competition in China. In 2016, he was invited to perform a recital at the 41st International Trumpet Guild Conference.
