Chow Chi Chung

Chow began to play the horn at the age of seven, and was awarded a full scholarship to study the Junior Music Programme at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts when he was 14 years old. Served as the assistant principal horn of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra since 2001, he has made appearances with Myung-whun Chung, Yo-Yo Ma, Isaac Stern, Yehudi Menuhin, and Sarah Chang. He has performed in China, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Japan, Singapore, Korea, Thailand and Vietnam, and appeared on television and radio frequently.

As a soloist, he has performed with the KBS Symphony Orchestra, Busan Symphony Orchestra, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra and SAR Philharmonic Orchestra. He was the principal horn of KBS Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra and Asian Youth Orchestra.
