Xie is a lecturer at the Piano Department of Central Conservatory of Music, a Yamaha Future Artist, and an examiner of the Music Grade Examination (piano) of the Art Development Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China. She was a winner of the 11th Chinese Golden Bell Award for Music – Piano Competition, and has won awards at the 2018 C&D Kulangsu Piano Festival and Piano Competition, the 2nd Yamaha China Piano Competition Conservatoire, and the Chinese Children’s Small Golden Bell Music Contest.

Xie has performed at National Centre for the Performing Arts, Forbidden City Concert Hall, Shenzhen Concert Hall, Xinghai Concert Hall, the Curtis Institute of Music in the United States, and ACT CITY Hamamatsu Concert Hall in Japan. She has worked with renowned orchestras and conductors including Hu Yongyan, Zhu Qiyuan, Fu Renchang, Xia Xiaotang and Jing Huan.
