Tang Xin

Graduated from the College of Music of Southwest University in Chongqing with a Master’s degree in Piano Teaching and Performance, Tang is currently the deputy director, associate professor and a supervisor of the Master’s degree programme at the Department of Music Performance, College of Music and Dance, Guangzhou University. She went to the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University for exchanges from 2015 to 2016 with government funding. She has been engaged in music teaching for many years and has received first and second prizes from Guangzhou University for her teaching excellence in undergraduate courses for several years in a row. She has also won the Outstanding Teacher Awards at various piano competitions and was selected as an Outstanding Musician of Guangzhou in 2020.
She has given solo, ensemble and collaborative piano concerts in Chicago in the United States, Cremona in Italy, and several cities in China including Chongqing, Hong Kong and Guangzhou. She has also collaborated with violinist Roberto Cani, cellists Alexander Kaganovsky and Hu Wei, and singer Li Yiping, to name a few.
