Ma Lixia

Graduated from the Piano Department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2003, Ma is a teacher of piano basic course at the Music Middle School Affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music. A rigorous teacher who has affection for her students, she received the Junyuan Award for Outstanding Teacher from Shanghai Tang Junyuan Education Foundation in 2010 and 2014.
Ma devotes herself to music teaching and research. She has compiled textbooks including Basic Skills Practice for Piano Examinations, Piano Advanced Course – Book 5 and Compulsory Course of Piano Foundation – Book 1, and participated in the compilation of Qinsheng Yichang, a beginner piano book. She has recorded an album entitled Russian Piano Works, and has been invited to record teaching materials. Her performances in ensemble concerts have been widely acclaimed.
