A Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, majoring in piano performance and minoring in harpsichord, Wang is a lecturer at the Piano Department of Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM), member of the jury at the Standard Grade Examination Committee of CCOM, and an examiner of the Music Grade Examination (piano) of the Art Development Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China. He has won First Prize at the “Golden Classical Music Awards” International Competition in New York in 2017, and Second Prizes at the Louisiana International Piano Competition in 2013 and at the Wiesbaden International Piano Competition in 2004.
He has performed in Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States, and worked with several orchestras and renowned musicians, including conductors Mark Gibson and Roberto Gianola. In 2014, he gave a piano recital at Carnegie Hall in New York.
