Yang Hui-chun

After receiving her Master’s degree in Flute Performance from the Taipei University of Education in 2011, Yang continued her studies in flute at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, under the tutelage of Pierre-Yves Artaud. She gained the Diplôme Supérieur d’Exécution with unanimous consent of the jury in 2013, and the Diplôme Supérieur de Concertiste in 2014.

Yang is an active flutist who has performed solo recitals throughout Taiwan. She has extensive experience in performance and competition, and is dedicated to music education. She was the finalist of the Osaka International Music Competition in 2014, and was the wind instrument adjudicator in the Music Class Selection for Senior High School in North Taiwan in 2014 and 2017. Currently, she is an adjunct assistant professor at TransWorld University and teaches flute in high schools and elementary schools.
