Hsu Wei-en

A winner of the 2010 Los Angeles International Liszt Piano Competition, Hsu has earned a Master’s degree from The Juilliard School. He has also received training at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and Rutgers University.

In addition to his piano performing career, Hsu appears as a conductor, composer, organist, harpsichordist and répétiteur throughout Asia, Europe and the United States. In 2017, he was elected as an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music in recognition for his contribution to the music profession. He has been teaching at the School of Music of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts since September 2012 and is currently the Associate Professor. He is also a guest professor of the Sichuan University of Arts and Science and a visiting scholar of the Sun Yat-sen University.
