Lin graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London with a Diploma of Postgraduate Performance with distinction and a Bachelor of Music degree. After returning to Taiwan, she has been active on stage, performing Chinese and Western operas, oratorios and art songs. She has given solo recitals such as O lieb, so lang du lieben kannst! Grace Lin Soprano Recital and Soprano Grace Lin & Pianist Vera Hui-pin Hsu.

She has worked with Romanian tenor Alexandru Badea, different orchestras and choirs, and performed Haydn’s Die Schöpfung at the Taipei International Choral Festival, and given a solo recital From Dust till Dawn at the Macau Vocal Festival. Other performances include Brett Dean’s Chamber Music, Mozart’s Requiem, Die lustige Witwe, Beethoven’s Vocal Works, My Mom Needs an Education, Parsifal and Così fan tutte.
