Lou Kau Mansion, a focal point in Macao for the advancement and promotion of Chinese traditional culture and art, again welcomes the varied and beautiful works that exemplify the intangible cultural heritage of Jiangsu Province. Zisha (purple clay) pottery, Chinese opera mask painting, Taohuawu New Year’s prints and Suzhou embroidery, as well as delicately crafted eggshell carvings, straw weaving, dough figurine sculptures and leaf carvings, together represent both the Province’s traditional culture and its modern “living” culture.
