Zhejiang Province is naturally endowed with scenic beauty and ingenious
people
Shandong Province, a cradle of Chinese culture, is home to
an abundance of National Intangible Cultural Heritage items and a
host of unique folk arts and crafts.
The Lou Kau Mansion invites eight celebrated Shandong
artisans to Macao for yet another Folk Arts Show. These talented
craftspeople will demonstrate the arts of Yantai Paper Cutting
and Splash-colour Paper Cutting, with their intricate structure, the
Weifang Kites and Heze Dough Figurines, full of local colour, and
the rare and precious Goldstone Ink Slabs, along with superbly
skilled Porcelain Carving, Redwood Silver Inlay and Zibo’s Ceramic
Arts. These arts and crafts reflect not only the ancient, simple charm
of the traditional Qilu culture of Shandong Province, but also the
unique value and accomplished stature of the region’s flourishing
Intangible Cultural Heritage.
