Gathering VIVA energy to exude the brilliance of the “Culture City of East Asia”

This year’s Macao International Parade invites performing groups from around the world and extraordinary local artists to sing and dance in their distinctive costumes and styles along the bustling streets filled with a rich cultural atmosphere. Highlighting Macao’s unique cultural landscape and engaging residents and tourists in the festive vibes, the groups will spread the concept of “Love, Peace and Cultural Integration” and promote cultural and artistic interaction and exchange.

Being Macao a “Culture City of East Asia 2025”, this year’s Parade further promotes the spirit of “coexistence, innovation and harmony” of the “Culture City of East Asia”, echoing with the theme “East-West Encounter, Asia in Harmony” of the “Culture City of East Asia” and showcasing the charm of Macao’s cultural integration and innovation.

Opening Ceremory│Ruins of St. Paul’s

The grand Parade of performing arts groups from around the world and extraordinary local artists will set off from the Ruins of St. Paul’s, kicking off the Parade with energetic opening performances.

 

Along the Parade route

The participating groups will interact with the public along the route, fully showcasing the charm of the “Culture City of East Asia”.

 

VIVA Carnival│Avenida Panorâmica do Lago Nam Van

The “VIVA Carnival” will feature a variety of exciting performances and game booths, in which various artistic groups will perform to share joy. Let’s feel the lively atmosphere together!

Macao Mascot Parade

The mascot of Cultural Affairs Bureau, the little spirit "MICAF," will join "Mak Mak" and a group of friends for the Parade!

After the opening ceremony, “MICAF” and “Mak-Mak” will also appear at the "VIVA Carnival at Anim’Arte NAM VAN, interacting with the audience and cheering on the other groups.
