el fog Composing Workshop (Masayoshi Fujita)

Japanese young vibraphonist and composer Masayoshi Fujita (also known as el fog) likes to experiment with vibraphone, synthesized electronic music and textured noises. In this year’s Macao International Music Festival, el fog is going to share his composing experience with musicians in Macao. Participants can even perform on stage!

The workshop consists of two parts: participants are required to submit their works (one from each person/group) before August 20th. The Macao Electronic Music Association will hold a mastering session on August 26th to assist participants to finish post-production to their songs. el fog will choose three out of all works and the selected participants will perform during the workshop on October 14th, in which el fog will mentor and share his insights with all.
