Registration for handicrafts workshops at the “Tap Siac Craft Market” is open

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), the “Tap Siac Craft Market” will be held from 26 to 28 April and from 3 to 5 May, at Tap Siac Square, featuring thirty-eight handicrafts workshops. The fee for each handicrafts workshop is MOP50. All interested parties can register for the workshops through the “Activity Registration System” on IC’s website from 1 April until 8 April, at 5pm.

The “Tap Siac Craft Market” features thirty-eight themed workshops, including “Piggy sheep leather card holder”, “Origami with silver clay”, “Stone painting”, “Lovely wool felted kitten”, “Hand-sewn little grey elephant doll”, “Little fox brooch”, “Chinese round fan with hand-drawn peonies”, “Fiber-threaded crochet picture”, “Guess what sharks’ favourite thing to do is (Family class)”, “Spinning hot air balloon preserved flower music box”, “Pressed-flower night lamp”, “Korean-style preserved flower bouquet with cone holder”, “Hand-sewn piggy (Family class)”, “Sterling silver earrings fringed with starry beads”, “Chubby wool felted piggy (Family class)”, “Japanese porcelart coffee cup”, “Polymer clay workshop (Family class)”, “European-style embroidered hat”, “Japanese round fan with colourful marbling”, “Sakura Japanese accessories”, “Dreamcatcher weaving”, “Recycled glass bottle painting”, “Leather round pencil case”, “Wool felted kitten”, “Colourful hot air balloon notebook (Family class)”, “Crystal bonsai”, “Mushrooms in the rain – Lovely mushroom stool (Family class in English)”, “Hand-drawn washable kraft paper luggage tag”, “Lovely piggy/puppy leather keychain”, “Matt-surfaced recycled glass bottle light”, “Hand-sewn double-sided baby bib”, “Leather pouch”, “Modern English calligraphy”, “Piggy paper sculpture”, “Face Painting – Beautiful unicorn (Family class)”, “Corrugated fiberboard crafting (Graduation doll)”, “Kiss-lock leather coin purse” and “Glass terrarium”.

For more information about the dates and contents, as well as registration in the workshops, please check the “Activity Registration System” on IC’s website (www.icm.gov.mo/eform/event). Deadline for online registration is 8 April, at 5pm. Successful applicants will be selected by drawing lots and will be notified by SMS on 10 April. Successful applicants should pay the registration fees at the designated locations within the specific period of time after receiving the SMS notification. Registered applicants who arrive 10 minutes after the workshop starts will be disqualified and will be replaced by the on-site applicants in the waiting list.

If there are places left for the workshops, interested parties can register on-site and pay registration fees during the Tap Siac Craft Market starting from 26 April, at 5pm. In addition, the organizer will distribute the tickets for on-site applicants on the waiting list 30 minutes before the workshop starts. Any latecomers to the workshops will be replaced by the on-site applicants on the waiting list accordingly.
