Startups in Macao’s cultural and creative industries are springing up. In the “Feature” section, founders of Manner, Galo-sorsorsorte and Barra Studio share their business experiences.
In the “Close-up” section, the founder of the watch brand ALMEIDA RIBEIRO, Andy Szeto explains how to create a local watch brand with Macao elements. In recent years, many 3D multimedia production companies have emerged. Cliffs Studio, which has won many design awards, is a leading example of the industry and founder Ben Cheong introduces the brand development process in the “Brand Story” section. Project operators Paul Chan and Olivia Tang show up in the section “Go Global” to share their views of organising “Walk in Hong Kong”, a project which provides visitors guided tours to explore Hong Kong’s culture. In the “Blogs” section, seven columnists, namely Lo Che Ying, Tracy Choi, Lam Sio Man, Un Sio San, Ron Lam, Yap Seow Choong and Johnny Tam, share their unique perspectives on the development of the cultural and creative industries.
C² is a bimonthly online trilingual magazine (in Chinese, Portuguese and English), issued on the first Wednesday every two months. The next issue will be launched on 5 December 2018.
