Organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau and the Galaxy Entertainment Group, the GEG Traditional Music and Dance Performance in the Community invited this year, the Guangdong Normal Polytechnic University School of Music Dance Group and eight art troupes from Portuguese-speaking countries and regions, namely Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, East Timor, and Goa, Daman and Diu, to present 14 ebullient and culturally distinctive performances in different neighbourhoods across Macao over two weeks, with the aim of showcasing the traditional cultures of China and Portuguese-speaking countries.
