In order to promote the exhibitions, activities, publications, collections, services and permanent exhibition information of the museums under its auspices, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) publishes a new issue of Newsletter of Museums and Exhibitions of IC, which is available free of charge at all distribution points. An electronic version of the publication is also available on the website for the public to access.
This edition of the issue introduces a number of historical and artistic exhibitions, including “Memory of the Past – Exhibition of the Macao Museum Postcards Collection”, “Exhibition of Artworks of the Members of Macao Artist Society 2020”, “Rebirth in the Spring Breeze – Art Exhibition of He Duoling”, “Wandering across the Landscape: Collection of the Macao Museum of Art” and “Exhibition of Works by Lam Un Mei and Ye Jiehao - Artists Winning Grand Prize of Jury Award in Collective Exhibition of Macao Visual Arts and Collective Exhibition of Macao”; the issue also promotes a wide range of activities, including “2020 Little Artists”, “Museum at Night 2020 – Fun Day at the Macao Museum”, a series of activities to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the passing of Xian Xinghai, as well as workshops, seminars and guided tours, which involve a number of activities for families; as well as a number of publications and introductions to the museum’s collections. In addition, applications for “Friends of the Macao Museum of Art” opens, and various museums have resumed on-site public guided tours and group tours. Interested parties can refer to the publication for more information and are welcome to participate in the activities and visit the venues.
Distribution points of the Newsletter of Museums and Exhibitions of IC include various cultural facilities under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (including the Macao Museum, the Macao Museum of Art, the Handover Gifts Museum of Macao, the Xian Xinghai Memorial Museum, the Mount Fortress Corridor, the Heritage Exhibition of a Traditional Pawnshop Business, etc.), as well as the public libraries under the IC and the Tourist Information counters of Macao Government Tourism Office.
