Writing and painting on fans is a unique ancient artistic form in our country. Calligraphic creations on fan surfaces are commonly found on both folding and round fans. Following the popularity of folding fans in the Ming Dynasty, paper folding fans have become another option for calligraphy and painting. This workshop invites calligraphers and painters from Macao to guide participants in experiencing the charm of Chinese fan calligraphy.
