WANG LEI & YILE
A couple that focus on collaborative music productions. In 2013, Wang Lei formed LeiLuo Sound Art Studio with Australian Architect Yile Wang. The music production studio focuses on fashion and world music with a touch of experimental sensibilities, and encourages cross-collaboration into disparate realms with musicians from around the world.

WANG LEI (BASS)
Born in Zibo, Shandong Province, is a veteran Chinese musician who has been engaged in the music industry since the beginning of the early 1990s. He is recognized as one of the best bassists and music producers in China. He first formed the first grunge band in mainland China “TheFly” in 1993. In following, he formed the renowned indie rock band “Heart 5” in 1994. In 1996, Wang Lei joined the band “43 Baojiajie”, He then participated in the composition and release of the two famous rock and roll albums titled “43 Baojiajie” and “Storm Coming”, which had a significance influence domestically.

YILE (KEYS)
Born in Shanghai in 1984, Yile graduated from Architecture Faculty in University of Sydney with a major in Architecture Design and Public Art. She had systematically studied academic classical piano since age of 3, under the mentorship of the late pianist Hu Tian chou. With a solid foundation of contemporary art studies and classical technique training, Yile had established her own aesthetic over years and jointly worked with Wang Lei as co-producer in the project with her critical analytical skills and rich understanding of arrangement and sounds.
