The local musician Lei Siu Hong (Mars) has participated in the past several hush sessions in different ways. Last year, he brought a series of original works and energetic young musicians to the show, and this year a lively Latin bands are organized. Mars has been back to Macao over 10 years since graduating with a master's degree in music . For many years, he has served as a university lecturer, association leader, orchestra conductor and composer , but guitar is the deepest feeling in his soul . Mars is deeply influenced by a number of contemporary guitar masters, including Santana, Eric Johnson, Jeff Beck, Jeff Golub, Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, Robben Ford and more.
Mars Latin Session is composed of local musicians with diverse styles and backgrounds, including classical musicians, professional percussion and musicians, all of them are actives in Macao and joined together because of Mars's convocation.
The band is based on a Latin style, adding elements of popular music such as Rock, Funk, RnB and Blues. The 12-member lineup of the guitarist , singer and rhythm group plus five wind instruments players will bring us a happy wind in this Autumn.
